No ship is entirely impregnable. To this end we have a three tiered approach to ship security according to your preferred corporate strategy.
These strategies we call:
Three Clicks (Kilometres) Out means we look beyond the hand rail of your vessel to predict risk. Prevention is better than cure and we do that passively and/or aggressively in line with ours and the ISPS code of conduct.
We monitor all ship movements and proximities to your vessel both on radar and visually 24 hours a day. This way we aim to spot any pirate activity before it becomes a threat. We then have the option to maneuver away from the threat. All our team members are highly trained in non lethal combat but if a threat unfortunately becomes a hostile intent we will use long range lethal force to eliminate it before it can implement that intent.
It stands to reason that every vessel has weaknesses in it's defence, you run a commercial transit operation after all, not a navy. We find your vessel's weak spots and put in place anti boarding countermeasures. These countermeasures generally consist of physical barriers to entry in areas prone to grapple attachment or low points of freeboard but may also include visible armed force deterrent.
In the unlikely event of a boarding vital areas of the ship can be shut off denying pirates access to the bridge, hold, engine room and crew quarters. Foiled attempts to gain access and control of these areas plus harassment tactics performed by the security teams generally leave pirates with no other option than to abandon their attack whilst the crew can remain in their safe areas unharmed.
